The Egalet® tablet is one in a series of controlled release products developed by Egalet a/s. In a joint effort, our skilled in-house scientific team and Vice President of Innovation & Research, Daniel Bar-Shalom, have brought the Egalet® technology to advanced stages of development. As a result, we are able to carry projects from the initial conception of an idea to the final stage of regulatory approval for the introduction of our products worldwide.

Our focus is on development of enhanced controlled release products for use in areas of chronic therapeutic concern such as cardiovascular disorders, pain management, orphan diseases, as well as oral delivery of peptides.

At present, two constant release products (2K) developed by Egalet a/s are entering Phase III (one for hypertension and one for chronic pain). Two time released products (3K) are also under development. In addition, projects in other areas with non-disclosed partners are in progress and scheduled for entering the market in the near future.
