Entrepreneur of the Year 2001
Egalet a/s was the winner of the category "Life Science- and Biotech" in the 2001 Entrepreneur of the Year contest. The award was given to Egalet a/s for the development of the unique and clear concept for delivery of medicine to patients. 140 companies participated in this year competition.  

The Entrepreneur Of The Year awards programme is a regional, national and international annual award scheme which identifies and recognises the achievements of outstanding entrepreneurs within successful growing dynamic businesses.

The programme celebrates entrepreneurial success and recognises the benefits that entrepreneurs and their entrepreneurial spirit bring to the economy in terms of job creation and to the competitiveness of Denmark. The awards were founded and are produced by Ernst & Young.
