A schematic view of the Egalet^® production flow is illustrated as follows:

1. Cavity is empty
   .

2. Piston moves forward, coat material is injected
   .

3. Coat material hardens, piston recedes while matrix
    material (containing drug) is injected into the cavity
   .

4. Matrix hardens, piston moves forward ejecting the finished Egalet^® from  the open mould
   .

5. Finished Egalet^®  tablet
