We concentrate exclusively on research and development, and focus on developing patentable products and drug delivery processes with broad market appeal. 

Our corporate strategy is to control drug development efforts from product formulation to clinical testing, regulatory submissions and manufacturing. As a result, Egalet a/s increasingly focuses its resources on a range of products, in order to secure licensing agreements with major pharmaceutical companies and in return provide significant royalties or profit revenues.

Today, we are licensing the Egalet^® technology to major companies and in 2004 we expect additional developments, licensing agreements and product approvals. We also envision further advances in the development of our product pipeline and the initiation of full-scale manufacturing.

A substantial amount has been invested in product development and patents, and Egalet a/s continues to build a fully integrated pharmaceutical company within the market for controlled release pharmaceuticals which continues to expand, thereby offering new opportunities for Egalet a/s.
